Brief: To suggest, book and manage entertainment for the Diana Lingerie event to be held in Sydney for approximately 2,500 female delegates from Japan. The client had quite specific requirements. Firstly, their overall theme revolved around a huge central LED image of the Goddess Diana. The story of how the Goddess Diana evolved from a child was to be told through acting and dance. Theme Park Events & Entertainment was involved in every stage of this process from auditioning young girls including final selection of Ellen Beattie who played our young goddess along with script consultation, through to auditioning dancers, selection of choreographer and costuming. The final element of the transition from young girl to Goddess was facilitated with an aerialist – who magically flew into the air and was tracked some 10 metres above the audiences heads. In addition to this, Theme Park Events & Entertainment was asked to source a dance band with singer. Not a difficult task, but the added twist was that the vocalist was to sing the company song … in Japanese! The desired result was achieved much to the delight of the client and audience. |
